Watertown- Zoe H. Cone 91 of Watertown passed away Wednesday January 8, 2013 at Heritage Homes Assisted Living from complications relating to the Type A flu virus.
Zoe was born on March 19, 1921 in Duluth MN. The daughter of Telford C. & Pearl (nee-Bruce) Hartman She married Charles H. Cone on June 14, 1947 in Duluth, MN. Zoe was a homemaker all of her life and attended Church services at Bethany Chapel on the Marquardt Campus.
Zoe had lived in Florida for 26 years and moved to Watertown in 2002. She and her husband Chuck loved to golf and she was an accomplished guitar player. She enjoyed singing and leading others in song and instilled the love of music in her three daughters. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was willing to help any of her friends or acquaintances during times of trouble.
Survivors include: three daughters Kitty (Nee-Cone) Stueber of Watertown, Virginia Cone of St. Paul, MN, and MaryAnn (Bob King) Cone of Portland, OR; two grandchildren Alexa Jo Stueber of Greenfield, WI and Zachary (Kim) Stueber of Middleton, WI.; one sister Kay Pattison of St. Cloud MN. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Chuck Cone and sister Virginia Sorensen. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Heritage Homes or Marquardt Foundation, Inc. on behalf of the family.
