Winifred Jeffrey

Winifred Jeffrey, 94, of Watertown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 6, 2018 at Park Terrace. Winifred was born on May 2, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of John and Ivy (Wood) Logan. Winifred married the love of her life Charles on July 11, 1941 in Clayton, MO and the couple enjoyed 66 years together. Winifred spent 35 years of her life doing what she loved working as a hairdresser at Marshall Fields in Chicago, IL. In her free time she enjoyed decorating, adding her touch to anything with fashion, and traveling all over the U.S. and also other countries, above all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Winifred is survived by her children Charles (Kathy) Jeffrey Jr. of Ricelake, WI; Jill (Mark) Strehlow of Racine; Kevin (Susan) Jeffrey of Watertown, and daughter in-law Ardenne Jeffrey of Petosky, MI. 8 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. Winifred is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son John, and Brothers Kenny and Jack.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
