William Haack (Bill), 65 of Watertown, was called to heaven on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, while resting peacefully in his bed.
Bill was born on July 21, 1947, in Plainview, MN, to Emil and Loretta Haack. On November 23rd, 1956, at the age of 9, Bill moved to the Bethesda Lutheran Communities Campus, in Watertown, WI. While living at Bethesda, Bill worked for many years in the kitchen, and enjoyed watching and interacting with the maintenance and grounds crew workers. Bill was also very social and enjoyed participating in the many activities at Bethesda as well as any church service that was offered.
Over the years, Bill's outgoing personality helped make him many friends and impact many lives. Bill was also quite adventurous. Bill loved to travel to places he had never been and loved being outdoors. Bill enjoyed going for walks, going on 'road trips,' and sitting outside so he could enjoy the nature.
Bill will be dearly missed by his many friends that he made over the years he spent at Bethesda's Watertown Campus, Bethesda's Brandon Group Home, and Golden Care Day Program in Beaver Dam, WI. A special thank you to all the staff of Bethesda, that showed endless love and support for Bill over the years. Also to Annette Messmer and Kathy Brost of Care Wisconsin, whom were always readily available to help ensure Bill was well taken care.
Bill is survived by siblings, Lavonne, Betty, Kathleen, Berdetta, Orlan, Carol, Randolph, and Basil. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Loretta Haack, and his brother Robert.
