Willard F. Schoeffling Jr. “Bill”, 81, of Watertown, passed away peacefully from complications of Dementia on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek surrounded by his loving family.
Bill was born on August 2, 1938 in Milwaukee, the son of Willard and Mary Jane (Young) Schoeffling. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy for 4 years. Bill spent most of his life working in sales selling building materials for different companies. He married the love of his life Nancy Poetter on October 18, 1963 in Crown Point, Indiana and the coupled enjoyed 56 years of marriage. In Bill’s free time he enjoyed going out for dinner and enjoying an Old Fashioned, traveling, especially cruises; going to casinos and testing his luck on the slot machines; he also loved airplanes and enjoyed going to air shows and was an member of the EAA- Experimental Aircraft Association for many years, he was also an avid Facebook user and would appreciate many likes and shares of his obituary. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Bill is survived by his wife Nancy, Children: James Schoeffling; Keith (Carrie) Schoeffling; Lisa (Greg) Goodrich; and Corey Schoeffling. Grandchildren: Harvey Schoeffling; Alex Schoeffling; Amellia Schoeffling; Wyatt Goodrich; Marshall Goodrich; Elicia Schoeffling; and Braydon Schoeffling. Bill is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and Brother Robert.
Per Bill’s request there will be no formal funeral services, instead friends and family should remember the special times they had with Bill and “have one more for the ditch”. He will be laid to rest in his Mausoleum “Cabin” at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia.
