Wayne A. Hensler, 87 of Waterloo, died peacefully on June 15, 2016 at Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center of Johnson Creek.
Wayne was born on August 4, 1928 in the Town of Portland, the son of Emil and Vera (Dochadis) Hensler. He completed the Farm Short Course at the University of Wisconsin. On August 22, 1953, he married Bernadine Balmer in Waterloo and the couple raised 2 daughters. Wayne prided himself on being a free thinker, world-wide traveler, hog farmer, and always living life his way. His grandchildren were of the utmost importance to Wayne.
