Waldemar Grulke

June 22, 1933 — February 10, 2013

Waldemar M. "Bud" Grulke 79, of Watertown passed away on Sunday Feb. 10, 2013 at home.
Bud was born on June 22, 1933 in Watertown the son of Max and Edna (Pieper) Grulke. He was a graduate of Watertown High School. He served in the US Navy 1951-55 in the Aviation Division. He married Dorothy Watson on Jan. 8, 1955 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church Watertown. Bud was the owner of Bud's Décor of Nature in Watertown for 16 years. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church Ixonia and the Oconomowoc American Legion.
Survivors include: wife Dorothy "Dottie" of Watertown; daughter Deborah (James Janik) Starr of Green Bay; son Kevin (Lori) Grulke of Watertown; 5 grandchildren Jason (Katie),Mark, Heather, Brian and Amanda; 4 great grandchildren Matthew, Tyler, Brooke and Libby; sister Elgardie Fuchs of Watertown; also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and son Tyran Grulke. Memorials to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Ixonia would be appreciated.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM on Saturday Feb. 16, 2013 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Ixonia with the Rev. Kenneth Ewerdt officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 12:00 PM until the time of service. Burial will be in Glenview Memorial Gardens Ixonia.
