Vernon R. Kreuscher, 88 of Watertown, formerly of Fredericksburg, TX, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at his home.
Vernon was born on February 5, 1930 in Kenosha, Wisconsin the son of Erwin and Emma (Myers) Kreuscher. Vernon married his loving wife Marilyn Quandt on September 16, 1950 and the two enjoyed 66 years of marriage together until her death in 2017. God blessed Vern and Marilyn’s marriage with 3 loving children. He and his wife were members of Ebenezer Moravian Church. Vern was an electrician by trade. He worked for various contractors throughout his career and he owned his own electric company in Wautoma, Wisconsin for 17 years. Vern was a member of the Shriners, the Scottish Rite, and the Order of the Eastern Star. Vern was a man that liked to help others. He enjoyed life and all it had to offer. Whether it was being outdoors, or spending time with his family, Vern led a full life. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Vern is survived by: his Sons, David (Kathy) of Newberry, MI, and Kenneth of Watertown; 4 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a number a nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his parents; his loving wife Marilyn, and a daughter, Luann.
A memorial service will be held to honor the life of Vern at 6:00PM on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home in Watertown. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00PM until the time of service at the funeral home. The Rev. Ray Bezanson will preside over the service.
