Waterloo- Thomas Robert Geise 64 of Waterloo passed away on Friday November 16, 2012 at the Watertown Regional Medical Center.
Tom was born November 11, 1948 in Waterloo the son of Robert & Lorraine (Staude) Geise. He was a 1966 graduate of Waterloo High School and married Sanja Weber on July 7, 1973 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Waterloo. Tom worked the family farm all his life and was employed at Pallet One (formerly Duckert Pallet Co.) for many years. Through the years he enjoyed deer hunting, working his farm, all sports and many other activities through which he gained many friends. He was an avid Packer and Brewer fan. Tom was generous, dependable and would do anything for friends and family. Most of all Tom loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife Sanja Geise of Waterloo; three children Robert, Rachel, and Rebecca Geise all of Waterloo; five sisters Kristine Wilke of Marshall, Judith (Jim) Holzhueter of Beaver Dam, Valery (Larry) Silha of Waterloo, Peggy Rosberg of Waterloo, Deborah (Tom) Paape of Ashville, NC; one brother James Geise of Madison; mother-in-law Beverly Weber of Waterloo. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Victoria Doughty, brother-in-laws Errol Doughty, Dennis Wilke and Don Rosberg.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home in Waterloo on Saturday, November 24, 2012. On Sunday, November 25, 2012, a visitation, also for family and friends, will held from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at the Watertown Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses followed by a memorial service.
