Thomas J. Frakes, 82, of Watertown, passed away on Thursday, August 1st, 2024, at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.

Thomas was born October 24, 1941, in Milwaukee, the son of Raymond and Elizabeth (Perusick) Frakes. In 1963, Tom married Linda McDow.

Thomas loved and lived life to its fullest. He possessed a strong work ethic that he instilled in others. Thomas was mischievous and always had a few tricks up his sleeve. He loved to entertain and make people laugh, had a huge heart, sense of adventure, love of children and was generous to a fault. Thomas was an avid golfer and accomplished bowler. He was inducted into the Watertown Bowling Hall of Fame in 2008.

Thomas is survived by his wife Linda, children Carrie (Richard) Pyka and Bradley Frakes; and siblings Margaret Miota and James Frakes. Thomas is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Tom’s life will be held on October 26th, 2024, at the Watertown Country Club from 1:00 - 4:00 PM. 

The family would like to sincerely thank the doctors, nurses and all other care providers for the exceptional care Thomas received throughout his extended illness.

In lieu of flowers the family will forward any donations received to one of the many charities that Thomas supported throughout his life.
