Steven A. Zastrow 56, of Watertown passed away on Monday July 2, 2012 at Marquardt Memorial Manor following a lingering illness.
Steven was born on May 20, 1956 in Watertown the son of Herbert & Viola (Groeler) Zastrow. He attended St. John's elementary and graduated from Watertown high school. Steven worked as a metal grinder at Crepaco for 26 years. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church Watertown. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and was a fan of Elvis.
Survivors include: daughter Jessica Zastrow of Watertown; son Nick Zastrow of Watertown; mother Viola Zastrow of Watertown; three brothers Larry, Harvey and Jim (Mary) all of Watertown; three sisters Grace (Frank) Borchardt of River Falls, Shirley Schlesner and Bonnie (Dave) Peirick; former wife Gale Zastrow of Watertown; also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, a brother in Law Ron Schlesner and his son Chad Allen Zastrow. Memorials to the family would be appreciated.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday July 7, 2012 at St. John Lutheran Church Watertown with the Rev. Rodney Warnecke presiding. Visitation will be held 9:00 AM until the time of service all at the church. Burial will be in Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia.
