Shirley Crum

May 28, 1937 — April 26, 2014

Shirley M. Crum, 76 of Watertown, went home to be with her Savior Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Marquardt Health Center. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:30PM on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church - Watertown with Pastor Robert J. Loggans presiding. Family will greet guests at the church from 1:30PM until the time of service. The celebration will be live-streamed and archived at www.CBCS.org Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV.
She was born May 28, 1937 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Frances Earl and Mary Pauline (Wallace) Houchin. She married Myles "MT" Crum Jr. on September 2, 1955. Shirley was a graduate of Marshall College (University), earning a bachelor's degree in home economics, and a Sunday School teacher and member of Grace Gospel Church, Huntington, WV.
She is survived by her husband, Myles Crum of Watertown; two sons, Richard (Monarae) Crum of Spring Hill, FL and Jeffrey (Kelly) Crum of Juneau, WI; grandsons Jonathan, Andrew, Benjamin and Michael Crum and granddaughter Ciara Goethel; two brothers Bill (Carol) Houchin and Raymond (Gaye) Houchin both of South Point, OH; one sister, Shelby (Fred) Veal of Flowery Branch, GA; six nephews, and many friends.
The family appreciates the care provided by the staff of Marquardt, Angels on Earth, and many friends. Christian radio was Mrs. Crum's constant companion. Please honor her with a designated gift to VCY radio, Milwaukee, WI.
