Roy Lewis

Roy Lewis, 76, of Watertown, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024, at his home.

Roy was born on October 2, 1947, in Earle, Arkansas, the son of Jeff and Rosetta (Jones) Lewis. He was baptized early in life at the Baptist church in Earle. He was a graduate from Dunbar High School in Earle. Roy was a retired interstate semi-truck driver and former owner of Lewis Live bait shop. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, cooking, hunting, working on cars, and playing and coaching tennis. Roy had a great sense of humor, and was a fun, loving guy who was kind and generous and always found the good in everyone. He was known by his children as “Super Dad”. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and his dog Foxxy. He will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to have known him.

Roy is survived by his daughters Sonya Lewis, Sebrina Lewis, and Tarsha Lewis; special children, Deneitra, Ja’mario, Kayla and Jeremy; Special friend Dionne Stanley;11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother Fred (Bonny) Lewis. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers, and 3 sisters.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
