Rose M. Fandrey, 84 of Reeseville passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Brook Gardens in Lake Mills.
Rose was born on December 30, 1934 in Waterloo the daughter of Elmer and Evelyn Schaller. Rose married the love of her life Robert Fandrey on June 30, 1956 and the couple enjoyed 34 years of marriage before his passing in 1990. She was a graduate of UW-Whitewater; she held various offices at Trinity and Zion Lutheran churches, and she was a dedicated Sunday school teacher for over 50 years- her faith was very important to her. She was an elementary teacher in Dodgeland for 35 years and was also a principal on and off for many years. Rose was very outgoing- she loved being the life of the party and had a sarcastic sense of humor, family and friends could always count on her to be there when they needed her. In her free time she enjoyed camping, word puzzles, making crafts, and reading a good book. Above all Rose was family oriented and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
Rose is survived by her children: Robert Fandrey of Reeseville; Cynthia Tyler of Green Bay; 2 grandchildren: Aaron (Johanna) Tyler and Danielle Fandrey. 2 brothers Charles (Tess) Schaller and Russell (Heidi) Schaller. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, her brothers Richard, Wayne, John, Lee, and her sister Viann.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Waterloo with Pastor Robb Kosky presiding. Visitation will take place at the church on Wednesday from 9:00am until the time of service. Burial will follow the service at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Reeseville at 1:30pm.
Memorials in Rose’s honor to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Alzheimer’s Association, and Trinity Lutheran Cemetery would be appreciated.
