Ronald D. Bauman, 85 of Neosho, passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
Ron was born April 26, 1939, in Milwaukee, the son of Lawrence and Onona (Drummond) Bauman. On October 31, 1988, Ron married his longtime love, Adria Clawson, in Juneau, WI. Ron was a master woodworker and antiques restorer. Early in his career, he owned an antique shop in New York City. Later, he returned to Milwaukee and built furniture and restored antiques in many of the finest homes on the East Side and in Madison. He and Adria moved to the countryside in 1988 and he spent 36 years doing what he loved best: hanging out with his family, growing potatoes, train-spotting with his son, crafting tables and stools, delivering Meals on Wheels, reading mysteries, bird-watching, and, most of all, marveling at his fine good luck in life.
Ron is survived by his wife, Adria, and beloved son, Eamon (Courtney Covill) Bauman. Cats Bear and Roxy will miss his morning scritches. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and brother James Bauman, as well as numerous cats and dogs.
A private graveside service will be held at Glenview Memorial Gardens of Ixonia.
