Roger Schroeder

Roger W. Schroeder, 76 of Lake Mills passed away Monday in Oconomowoc.

Roger was born on October 20, 1941 in Watertown, WI the son of Gilbert and Bernice (Hammer) Schroeder. Roger married the love of his life Nancy Stiegman on October 8, 1962 and the couple enjoyed 56 years of marriage. Roger was an avid fisherman and hunter and he enjoyed spending time out in nature. His weekends consisted of cheering on his favorite drivers while watching NASCAR races and even taking that adrenaline to the track in his own car for many years at Jefferson Speedway. Roger loved football and of course the best team in the NFL the Green Bay Packers. Above all, Roger enjoyed spending time with his family and 4 dogs Ricochet, Remington, Oliver, and Winchester. Roger will be greatly missed by those who were blessed to have known him.

Roger is survived by: his wife, Nancy Schroeder; his sons, Michael Schroeder of Lake Mills, and Scott (Angela) Masche-Schroeder of Fort Atkinson; his daughter, Shawn (Rob) Adam of Lake Mills; 8 grandchildren: Spencer, Jason, Jacob, Destiny, Forest, Jenna, Jackson, and Levi; 2 great grandchildren: Meadow and Ava; sister Jeanie (Bob) Klass of Beaver Dam; and a brother Darrell (Trish) Schroeder of Plover. Roger is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, Daughter Teresa, 4 sisters, and 2 brothers.

A memorial service for Roger will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, August 24, 2018 at the Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home in Watertown with Fr. Patrick Wendler presiding.
