Robert C. Wise 76, of Waterloo passed away on Sunday June 30, 2013 at home.
Robert was born on Aug. 17, 1936 in Eddyville, IL the son of Ralph and Rachel (Maxwell) Wise. He married Marty Lowrance on Dec. 31, 1955 in Ripley, MS. He was a supervisor/manager at Goodyear Tire and Rubber in North Chicago, IL and Sun Prairie for 25 years. Robert was a 32nd degree Mason and he loved playing poker and enjoyed the outdoors.
Survivors include: son Robert (Linda) Wise of Marshall; daughter Robin (John Cernoch) Yelk of Berlin, WI; three granddaughters Tera (Jason) Hornbeck, Mandie (Christopher) Garner and Melissa Yelk; three great grandchildren Autumn, Zach and Addison; six sisters Evelyn Quartermous, Dorothy Taylor, Helen (Bob) Morse, Betty (Ray) Sommers, Wanda Herrin and Irma Heintz; also survived by his two yorkies sunshine and sweetheart and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marty and a sister Catherine.
A friends and family gathering will be held on Thursday July 11, 2013 5-7 p.m. at the Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home in Waterloo.
