Robert E. "Bob" Langer, 80, passed away on Sat., June 7, 2014, at the Columbus Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Columbus.
Bob was born on August 30, 1933. He worked for many years at Peck's Plumbing, Heating & Excavating in Marshall, and then for Duckert Pallet Co. in Waterloo until his retirement.
Bob is survived by his children, Randy (Sue) of DeForest, Mike of West Palm Beach, FL, Denise Zemke of Sun Prairie, Sue (Ray) Burbach of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Lindsey, Darren, Justin and Jenna Langer; Eric, Evan and Alex (Kendelle) Zemke; Kelsey, Carley and Chloe Burbach; sister Kendra (Ken) DePrey; sister-in-law Rita Langer; and nieces, a nephew, other relatives and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents James and Lucille (Benesch) Langer; two sisters, Gwen Ryerson and Greta Langer; and a brother, Roderick.
At Bob's request, there will be a private family service and burial at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Marshall.
