Raymond Blasing

Raymond J Blasing passed away at his home in Blair, WI on August 15th 2012 after a brief illness. He was born on November 29th 1927 to Albert and Hattie (Kraehnke) Blasing in Watertown. On April 17th 1955 he married Jeanette Eggert at the Milford Methodist Church . Until his retirement, he was a lifelong resident of Watertown where he farmed and then worked as a machinist at Brandt, Inc.

He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and woodworking. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Jeanette, son David, daughter Mary (Virgil Frye), brother Harold, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, other family and friends and his devoted English springer spaniel, Buck. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Alburn and sister Ruth Kreider.

A Memorial Service with Pastor Mark Dobbertin presiding will be held at Pedersons Funeral Home in Watertown on Monday August 20th,, Friends and family may visit from 5pm until the time of the service at 7pm. Final rest will be at Aztalan Cemetary.
