Patricia Burbach

Patricia Lee (nee Min) Burbach, age 64, of Waterloo, passed away peacefully on Sunday May 19, 2013, surrounded by her family at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. Pat was born January 10, 1949 in Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii to John and Agnes(Meyer) Min. She married Gary Burbach on December 7, 1970 at St. Felicitas Church in San Leandro, CA.
Patricia lived a life of giving and caring for others. She was a caregiver to many children from Waterloo and the surrounding area throughout the years. She also cared for the elderly to ensure they had proper meals and checked to make sure they were always safe in their homes. She was the Kool-Aid mom for the neighborhood kids as she provided drinks and snacks throughout the day. If you ever had a chance to talk to Pat, her great sense of humor left you laughing and you could not help but enjoy her smile. Most of all she loved her family and the telephone company loved having her as a customer as she would call her siblings from California and Hawaii. Watching her children grow into adults was her prize possession and enjoying her grandchildren giving their parents headaches made her smile. Who could avoid a smile like that? Patricia you are loved by all you came in contact with and you will be missed.
Pat is survived by her husband Gary, children; Stacey(Earnest) Jiles, Sadye(Rick) Ring, Clint(Megan) Burbach, Trevor(Maquel) Burbach, grandchildren; Amber and Earnest Jr. Jiles, Kaden and Kameron Ring, Chance, Cole and Madelyn Burbach, and Marlo Burbach, siblings; Diana(Phil) Saylor, John(Kim) Min, Debra Worden, Loretta(Richard) Smith, Marcia Williges, and Teresa(Joy Bean) Min. Pat is further survived by many nieces, and nephews, and relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 25, 2013 at 1:00 PM Holy Family Parish/ St. Joseph, 387 S. Monroe St. Waterloo, with Fr. Michael Radowicz presiding. Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM on Friday May 24, 2013 at Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home in Waterloo, and on Saturday May 25, 2013 from noon until the time of the Mass at the church.
