Myles (M.T.) Thomas Crum, 79, of Watertown, WI (formerly of Jackson Ave., Huntington), reunited with his wife Shirley (Houchin) Crum in heaven December 17. A celebration of his life will take place at Calvary Baptist Church of Watertown December 21. The celebration may be viewed at www.cbcs.org.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service Tuesday, December 23, at 11 AM at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. Ron Caudill will minister.
Myles was born February 16, 1935, in Huntington, a son of the late Myles Thomas Crum, Sr. and Vola Clede (Meadows) Crum. Myles was a 1953 graduate of Huntington East High School. He married Shirley on September 2, 1955. He was a machinist at Owens Illinois and retired early to care for his wife, who was diagnosed with MS early in life. M. T. was greatly admired for his faithful care for her for so many years.
He is survived by son Richard (Monarae) Crum of Spring Hill, FL, and granddaughter, Ciara Goethels; son Jeffrey (Kelly) Crum of Juneau, WI, and grandsons Jonathan, Andrew, Benjamin and Michael; brother-in-law Edgar May of Huntington; and many friends. Myles was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and sister Beulah R. May.
