Mary C. Stiglbauer

Mary C. Stiglbauer, 98 of Watertown, passed away on December 24, 2024, at her home.

Mary was born on October 5, 1926, in Waukesha, WI, the daughter of Harold and Bertha (Harvican) Green. She married Alfred Stiglbauer on August 11, 1948, and the couple shared 68 happy years until his passing in 2016. Mary spent her life working side by side with her husband in many business ventures. She was an outstanding baker, and loved to bake to give goodies to her neighbors and friends. She was well known for her cream puffs and was planning on making them this year for Christmas. Above all else, Mary loved her family the most, and she shared a deep connection with each of them.

Mary is survived by: daughters Gail (William) Fons and Charlotte (Michael) Martin; grandchildren Andrew (Megan) Fons and Eric (Kimberly) Bichel; great-grandchildren Ella and Allanah Fons, and Brandy Bichel. Mary is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, husband Alfred, sister Dorothy Wirts, and brother Owen Green.

A Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held at a later date.
