Mary Kitelinger

Mary Sue Kitelinger, 58, of Waterloo, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 11, 2022, with her family by her side.

Mary Sue was born on July 29, 1964, in Osseo, WI, the daughter of Francis L. and Marie (Weihert) Kitelinger. She was a 1985 graduate of Fort Atkinson High School. She was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church for many years. She worked at Opportunities Inc. for several years. In her free time, she enjoyed working on crafts, playing cards, listening to music, going bowling, and taking frequent trips to her favorite restaurant, McDonalds. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Mary Sue is survived by her sister Lois (Chuck) Meyer, Carol (LeRoy) Gorkowski, and Floyd (Maggie) Kitelinger. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her niece Rita Davis.

The family would especially like to thank the staff and caregivers of Buckaroos Adult Family Home in Watertown and Rainbow Hospice for the care and compassion given to Mary Sue over the years.

Memorials in Mary Sue’s honor to Buckaroos Adult Family Home and/or Rainbow Hospice would be appreciated.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, August 19, 2022, at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev. Thomas Wilsmann presiding. Visitation will take place at the church from 12:00pm until the time of service. Burial will follow the service at Washington Cemetery in the Town of Portland.
