It is with sadness that the family of Mark H. Sanzenbacher, 64, of Reeseville, WI, announces that he passed away peacefully Friday evening, September 4, 2020.
Mark was born on February 27, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois; he is the son of the late Paul and MaryAn (Gordon) Sanzenbacher. He married the love of his life Karen Dempsay on April 15, 1994 in Tennessee and the couple enjoyed 26 years of marriage. He was raised and educated in Chicago, graduating from Rich Central High School. Mark went on to earn a B.S. Degree in Engineering at UW Parkside. For the past 15 years he has been employed at American Transmission Inc. as a project manager.
He enjoyed and was passionate about the creation of the patented Solo-Driver. In the last couple years he was a published author, and was an adjunct Professor at UW Madison. In his free time he had a love for coaching WYSO Little League baseball in Waterloo. Mark was a loving husband and father and enjoyed spending time with his family and loving wife and best friend.
Surviving is his wife Karen, children Alex Sanzenbacher and Olivia Sanzenbacher, siblings Paula (Bill Hawkinson) Sanzenbacher and Roger (Louise) Sanzenbacher. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, step in mother Marianne Havel- after his parents’ death, his uncles Walter “Buddy” Peck and Phillip Peck.
Due to the pandemic restrictions, a Celebration of Mark’s Life will be held at a later date.
Through Marks loving and generous spirit, it was his decision to donate his organs and tissues. Honoring Mark’s generous wish, the gift of life was shared with many people. Mark gave in death as he gave in life.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home in Waterloo, Wisconsin.
