Marion R. Behm 76, of Waterloo was called home to her Heavenly Father on Monday Feb. 4, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison.
Marion was born on May 17, 1936 the daughter of Edwin and Jessie (Allen) Salzwedel. She was a graduate of Deerfield high school. She married Jerome Behm on Sept. 18, 1955 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Deerfield. Marion helped her husband on the family farm in the Town of Waterloo for fifty years. In her earlier years, she worked at American Family Insurance in Madison. She was a life member of Immanuel Lutheran Church Deerfield and a former member of the Newville Homemakers Club. She loved her grandchildren, playing cards, gardening, painting and spending time with her family.
Survivors include: husband Jerome "Butch" Behm of Waterloo; children Faye (Richard) Veith of Lake Mills and Doug (Theresa Ulam) Behm of Hubbleton; seven grandchildren Zachary, Rachel, Seth, Sarah, Hannah, Matthew and Samantha; also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be held on Friday Feb. 8, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church Deerfield with the Rev. Paul Burk presiding. Visitation will be held on Thursday 5-7 PM at the Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home Waterloo and on Friday 1:00 PM until the time of service at the church.
