Margaret A. Heller, 94 of Lake Mills (formally of Waterloo), went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Willowbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation of Lake Mills.
She was born on October 20, 1921 in the Town of Holway, WI, the daughter Benjamin and Ella (Woelffer) Finder. She was a 1940 graduate of Lake Mills High School and on February 14, 1953, she married Charles Heller. Charles passed away on his farm on June 21, 1966 after just 13 years of marriage. Margaret enjoyed quilting, embroidering, playing cards and traveling. She was a lifelong member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church of Newville. She was a kind-hearted lady who looked forward to spending time with family and friends. Margaret will be dearly missed.
Margaret is survived by a number of nieces, nephews - including great and great-great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Sisters: Ruth (Arthur) Berner and Frances (Frederick) Pirwitz and Brothers: Lester (Geraldine) and Carl in infancy.
Memorials in Margaret's honor to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church of Newville or Lakeside Lutheran School would be appreciated.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church of Newville with Rev. Christopher Koschnitzke presiding. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00PM until the time of service at the church. Burial will be on Monday at 1:30PM at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Cemetery of Newville.
