Margaret F. Enkkeli, 87 of Campbell, CA (formally of Watertown, WI) passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016.
Margaret was born on August 8, 1929 in Elmhurst, IL, the daughter of Herbert and Helen (Fischer) Hanke. On July 9, 1955 she married Melvin Enkkeli in Janesville, WI. The couple owned and operated the Standard Gas Station and Shell Car Wash in Janesville for many years. They later ran Safety-Kleen of Watertown until 1983. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and cherished time with her grandchildren. Margaret and Melvin enjoyed traveling together. She was a talented painter and enjoyed bible studies. She was a caring and giving woman, who always thought of others before herself, and was known as the matriarch of the family. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by: her Children Marlene (Michael) Mallow of West Bend, WI, Marie (Tim) Russell of Campbell, CA, Marjorie (Don) Watson of Cape Coral, FL, and Matt Enkkeli of Burnsville, MN; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; Sisters Pearl, Shirley, Marilyn (Jack), Charlotte (Ed), and Tina; Brother Herb (Jan). Margaret is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, husband, Sons Stephen and Mark, Daughter Susan, Sisters Virginia, Helen, and Lorraine.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Watertown with Rev. David Groth presiding. Visitation will be on Friday evening from 5:00PM-8:00PM at the funeral home and Saturday from 1:00PM until the time of service at the church. Burial at Lutheran Cemetery to follow the service.
