Lyndy R. Silha, 42 of Waterloo, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2015 in Madison, WI.
Lyndy was born on July 18, 1973 in Madison, WI the daughter of Larry and Valery (Geise) Silha. Lyndy is a 1991 graduate of Waterloo High School and worked as an Operator for CapTel - a company that assists the hearing impaired with telephone communications. She was a lifelong and dedicated member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Waterloo. Lyndy loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved watching her two nephews and their friends play Pirate's Football, watching her favorite NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon and the races. She enjoyed musky fishing with her parents on the Chippewa Flowage and dressing up for Halloween with her friends - they won many group prizes. Lyndy had a wonderful sense of humor, strong will, and a generous spirit. She fought her liver disease for many years while awaiting a transplant, a battle she lost. Surrounded by loves ones, Lyndy joined her many relatives and some dear friends in heaven. One of Lyndy's earnest wishes was that many people would be aware of the need and become organ donors so that people on the waiting lists would get their much needed organ transplant.
Lyndy is survived by: her Parents Larry and Valery Silha, Brother Larry (Kristie) Silha Jr., Niece Amanda (Dustin) Stefanski, Nephews Cole and Jakyb Silha, and Great-Niece Jocelyn Stefanski. Lyndy is also survived by a number of aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends.
She is preceded by her grandparent and number of relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lyndy's honor made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or the Jefferson County Humane Society would be appreciated.
