Linda L. Zimmerman

Linda L. Zimmerman, 69, of Reeseville, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023, at Marquardt Health Center of Watertown.

Linda was born on October 14, 1953, in Watertown, the daughter of Robert and LaVerne (Bergdoll) Jine. She was a graduate of Watertown High School and attended some MATC. In 1974, Linda married Lynn Zimmerman at a Moravian Church in Lake Mills. Lynn and Linda owned and operated a dairy farm together until 2019, something that they were very proud of. Linda enjoyed helping her father with his popcorn stand business for many years. She worked at Crepaco until 1976, and in 1988 she started her own business selling Avon products. Linda’s ability to talk to anyone and her friendly personality endeared her to all she met. She was an excellent cook and made many memorable meals and sweets for her family. In her free time, Linda enjoyed watching football games, NASCAR, and golf. She will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.

Linda is survived by: her husband Lynn; son Jeremy (Kim) Zimmerman; granddaughter Rhea; aunt and uncle Shirley Knaack and Melvin (Diane) Knaack; sisters -in-law Irene Bauriedel, Beverly Mabie, Amy Zimmerman; second cousin Victor (Margaret) Miller; and beloved cat Moo. Linda is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends.

Linda is preceded in death by: her parents; son Justin Zimmerman; second cousin Roger Miller; special great aunt Linda Hilker; and in-laws Lyle Zimmerman, Marvin Bauriedel, Donovan Mabie, and Betty (Art) Nickels; and other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda’s name can be made to Mamre Moravian Church.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, June 26, 2023, at the Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home of Watertown with Rev. Ray Bezanson presiding. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Linda will be laid to rest at Mamre Cemetery following the service.
