Kenneth R. Robbins, 93, of Waterloo passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Rainbow Hospice Center in Johnson Creek.
Kenneth was born on October 10, 1925 in the Town of Bristol; he was the son of Ross and Ida (Miller) Robbins. Kenneth proudly served on the church counsel at St. Paul’s in Waterloo and at St. Paul’s in Marshall. In his free time you could find him outdoors farming, repairing tractors, hunting, fishing, and traveling up North to the family cabin. Later in Kenneth’s life he picked up the hobby of quilting with his sister, above all Kenneth enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and he will be dearly missed by those who were blessed to have known him.
Kenneth is survived by his children Jeff (Nancy) Robbins of Waterloo, Jerry (Sarah) Robbins of Columbus, Suzy (Brian) Kassube of Watertown, and Rosie (Mitch) Metcalf of Lake Mills. 14 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by a number of Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, and Sister Marjorie Scheel.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the neighbors, friends, family, and the staff at Rainbow Hospice for all the care and compassion given to Kenneth.
Memorials in Kenneth’s honor may be made to Rainbow Hospice Center.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, January 28, 2019 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Marshall with Pastor Mark Schoeneck presiding. A visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30am until time of service at the church. Kenneth will be laid to rest in Oak Hill cemetery in Waterloo following the service.
