Kenneth Foote

Kenneth C. Foote, 68, of Fort Atkinson passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Fort Atkinson Hospital.

Ken was born on November 27, 1949 in Baldwin, Wisconsin, the son of Wival and Esther Foote. Ken enjoyed many years working at Opportunities Inc. in Fort Atkinson. He enjoyed watching T.V., going for rides, sitting in his recliner and drinking tea. Ken attended Wisconsin School for The Deaf in Delavan, WI. Ken’s last day was filled with love and support. He was surrounded by family, friends, and caregivers; all the people he loved so much.

Ken is survived by: 9 siblings, Doug (Joel) Foote of Coon Rapids, MN, Tom (Ruth) Foote of Sanger, TX, Lynn (Sharon) Foote of Argyle, TX, Vivian Eichelberger of Liberty, TX, Ethel Stein of Northfield, MN, Margaret (Dean) Schildbach, Helenville, WI, Evelyn (Terry) Towne of Wonewoc, WI, Ellen Foote of Beaver Dam, WI, and Sally (Jerry) Ropecky of Fort Atkinson, WI. Ken is further survived by 2 sisters-in-law Sharon Foote of Blaine, MN, and Linda Foote of Neosho, WI.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, brothers, Duane, Glen, and Loren, and a brother-in-law Paul Stein.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staffs at Opportunities Inc., Fort Atkinson Hospital, and his loving caregivers. Especially to Sara, Rebecca and their team for the many years of wonderful care they provided Ken.

A celebration of Ken’s life will be held at the Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home in Watertown, WI on Monday, May 21, 2018 from 5:00PM untill 7:00PM. Burial will take place at a later date in Martell Methodist Cemetery in Spring Valley, WI.
