Julie Ann (Gordon) Radloff 54 of Waterloo passed away peacefully on September 13, 2015 following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was thankful for the additional time she had to spend with her family and friends of which she had so many.
Julie was born January 1, 1961 in Columbus, WI the daughter of James and Darlene (Balmer) Gordon. She was a1979 graduate of Waterloo High School. She graduated from Madison General (Meriter) School of Nursing from its last nursing class in 1982. Following graduation she worked at Meriter as an RN for over 30 years. She was a loving and compassionate care giver. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, going to races, spending serene time in the cabin up north, and riding with the t-top off of her camero. She loved books and was an avid reader of fiction and non-fiction. She loved dragonflies, humming birds, and iris flowers.
She was survived by her children, Jennifer Radloff of Waterloo, Jamie (Thomas Hellenbrand) Radloff of Windsor, Kevin (Lindsay Kirchoff) Radloff of Waterloo; their father, Richard Radloff of Waterloo; her mother Darlene Gordon of Waterloo; her special friend Michael Dolphin of Waterloo and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives & friends. She was preceded in death by her brother Jimmy Gordon, her father James Gordon, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins. Memorials to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Rainbow Hospice, Waterloo E.M.S. Supporters Inc. or Oak Park Palace in Madison would be appreciated.
The family wishes to thank the caring and wonderful providers and staff at UW Hospital, Oak Park Place and Rainbow Hospice, as well as, the many family and friends that cared for her.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Friday Sept. 18, 2015 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Waterloo with Rev. Rob Kosky presiding. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday 5-8 PM and on Friday 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will be at a later date in Oak Hill Cemetery Waterloo.
