Julie Jane Emiley, 62, of Cedarburg, formerly of Watertown, passed away from a sudden illness on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton.

Julie was born on December 7, 1955 in Pontiac, Illinois the daughter of Ralph and Genevieve (Johnson) Adams. Julie married her love, David Emiley on September 27, 2014 at the Milwaukee Botanical Domes and the two deeply cared for each other until her death. Julie worked as an artist and was a skilled painter. She used many different media. Whether it was making a doll, or painting, she found many ways to showcase her skills and wonderful talent. A collection of her work is being archived in order to be viewable online.  She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.

Julie is survived by: her loving husband, David; her 3 children, Matt (Lisa Lorenz) Helbing of Lawrence, KS, Meghan Dolan of Cedarburg, and Joslin Dolan of Cedarburg; two grandchildren, Henry and Theodore; and a brother, Randy (Anne) Adams. Julie is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Julie is preceded by: her parents, and two sisters, Karen and Annette.

A friends and family gathering to honor Julie’s life will be held at the Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home in Watertown, Wisconsin on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM. Julie will be laid to rest on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in DeWitt, Iowa.
