Joseph Wielgus

Joseph F. Wielgus 83 of Fort Atkinson passed away on Monday Sept. 3, 2012 at home.
Joseph was born on Oct. 20, 1928 in Chicago, IL the son of Joseph and Ruth (Nelson) Wielgus. . Joe was admitted to Bethesda in 1940 and he was later confirmed there in 1981. He worked at Bethesda on the grounds crew and later in the work shop for many years.
Survivors include: guardian Debby (Kyle) Ford Oppermann of Watertown; caregivers Richard and Eddie Gorniak of Fort Atkinson. He is also survived by his many friends in the Bethesda Community and his loving house mates. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Eleanor. Memorials may be made to Rainbow Hospice or Care Wisconsin.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday Sept. 6 2012 at the Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home Watertown with the Rv. Shannon Finger of Rainbow Hospice presiding. Visitation will be held on Thursday 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
