Jon F. "JP" Parish 73, of Watertown, passed away on Sunday May 15, 2016 at the Jefferson Memory Care surrounded by his loving family.
Jon was born on Nov. 5, 1942 in Milwaukee the son of David and Blanche (Steinhoff) Parish. He had lived in Rockford and Platteville prior to moving to Watertown in 1950 with his family. He helped his parents in the family business, Dave's Cue and Cushion pool hall and restaurant. Jon was a 1961 Graduate of Watertown High School. He was a tool and die maker at Johnson Controls in Watertown of over thirty years retiring in 2005. Jon was active in many trap shooting and Billiard Leagues in the area. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and baking. Above all things, Jon enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Survivors include: Daughters Carrie (Dan Ewaskowtiz) Krueger of Eagle and Kelly (Patrick) Dittmann of Watertown; Seven Grandchildren Ryan (Ashley), Ricki Lynn, Molly, Bobbi Jo (Tim), Karissa (Ben), Sean (Angie) and Beka; Nine Great Grandchildren; Brother Richard (Barbara) Parish. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Timothy Parish, and brother Roger Parish.

A Memorial Service will be held 4:00 PM on Sunday May 22, 2016 at the Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 PM until the time of service. Burial will be in Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia.
