Watertown- John R. Wittchow 74, of Watertown passed away on Wednesday July 23, 2014 at home.
John was born on March 9, 1940 in Watertown the son of Ruben and Helen (Mallow) Wittchow. John was a graduate of Watertown High School. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. John was a life time member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include: brother Dr. Allen (Joann) Wittchow of Onalaska; niece Tina (Brian) Christy of Delafield; four nephews William (Barb) Wittchow of Burnsville, MN Dr. Robert (Nancy) Wittchow of Mequon, WI, Dr. Richard (Cathy) Wittchow of Onalaska and Steven (Tina) Wittchow of Burnsville, MN; also survived by a number of other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Mark's Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
A Memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday July 30, 2014 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Karl Walther presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 -11 am. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery Watertown.
