James Sobbe

James E. Sobbe, 69, of Watertown passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Rainbow Hospice inpatient Center in Johnson Creek with his family by his side.

Jim was born on October 9, 1952 in Waterford, the son of Charles and Clara (Degrave) Sobbe. He married the love of his life Barb Osborne in 1999 and the couple enjoyed 22 years of marriage. He was a member of River City Church in Watertown for many years. Jim had a passion for food; he especially enjoyed having friends and family over no matter the occasion for barbeques. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

Jim is survived by his wife, children Michael (McKayla) Curry and Nancy Curry, 7 grandchildren Carlos, Izzy, Demetri, Kaylyn, Brynley, Layla, Jaxton, and cousins Cherie, David, and Paula. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
