Ivan R. Arnold Jr., 61 of Milwaukee, WI (formally of Byron, MN) passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Zilber Family Hospice of Wauwatosa, WI.
Ivan was born on April 3, 1955 in Rochester, MN, the son of Ivan and Norma (Asmus) Arnold. The Arnold family lived in Byron, MN and Ivan enjoyed his life there. Ivan enjoyed traveling with his parents in their RV. He moved to Bethesda Lutheran Home in 1979 and lived at the Watertown Campus for many years and later moved to the Ramsey Group Home in Milwaukee. He enjoyed his routine, daily activates, and outings in the community.
Ivan is survived by: his Sister Cynthia (Dan) Parkin of Inverness, IL; Niece Jane (Jens) Parkin-Kullmann of Sydney, Australia; and Nephew Alan (Courtney) Parkin of Woodbridge, VA. He is also survived by a number of other relatives, caregivers and friends.
Ivan is preceded in death by his parents and his Brother Dean in infancy.
His family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff of Bethesda, Milwaukee Center for Independence, St. Luke's Hospital, and Aurora Zilber Hospice for the loving care they provided.
Memorials to Bethesda Lutheran Home and Services would be appreciated.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00PM on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Ramsey Group Home of Milwaukee. Burial will take place at a later date.
