Henry Rezutek

WATERTOWN - Loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Henry Rezutek, 88, of Watertown, entered his eternal home on Thursday January 24, 2013 at Golden Living Center with his loving family at his side.

Henry was born on June.11, 1924 in Rib Lake WI., the son of Peter and Mary (LeBlanc) Rezutek. He was a graduate of Rib Lake High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He married Joyce Fritch on October 22, 1949 in Butler, WI. Joyce and Henry were blessed with twelve children, which kept them busy working and farming near Ixonia, WI. Later in life, he worked at Creekwood Farms in Lake Mills. Henry was a wonderful and kind father that will be greatly missed by his family.

Survivors include: 12 children Mike (Kathy) Rezutek of Denton, Texas; Ruth (Jim) Bandsma of Horicon; Barb (Mike) Zimmerman of Oconomowoc; Peter Rezutek of Gardiner, Mont.; Carol Kruesel of Watertown; Jim (Kathy) Rezutek of Watertown; John Rezutek of Juneau; Mary (Bill) Bergmann of Watertown, Rose (Wayne) Walters of Oconomowoc, Greg Rezutek of Fort Atkinson; Chuck (Roxanne) Rezutek of Palmyra; and David (Jill) Rezutek of Okauchee; 24 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brother Adam Rezutek of Big Bend; sisters Angie Gerstberger of Milwaukee and Helen Osmitz of Wausau; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Joyce of 63 years; two grandsons Patrick Rezutek and Nick Stair, a son in law Don Kruesel, six brothers and one sister.

A memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday Jan. 30, 2013 at 7:00 PM at Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home Watertown, with Monsignor Daniel Ganshert presiding. Visitation will be held on Wednesday 5:00 PM, until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia.
