Harriet A. Hahn 89, of Waterloo passed away on Monday July 9, 2012 at Willowbrook Nursing Home in Lake Mills.
Harriet was born July 27, 1922 in Waterloo the daughter of Albert & Esther (Vick) Lough. She graduated from Waterloo High School in 1940. Harriet was married on February 14, 1943 to Harold H. Hahn. Harold preceded her in death on August 24, 2001. Harriet worked at Jim's Cheese Pantry for 38 Years until her retirement in 1992. Harriet was a life long member of the Waterloo United Methodist Church, life long member of O.E.S., associate member of V.F.W. Aux # 6614 and associate member of the 5th Armored Division Association.
Survivors Include: four sisters Sarah Mickalis of Lake Mills, Irene Beckett of Waterloo, Betty (Jim) Robinson of FL, Donna (John) Schultz of Cambridge; one sister-in-law Barbara Lough of CA; life long friend June Dartt of Sun Prairie; also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Charles and Robert, sisters Lavina, Mary and Rose, and her nephew Daniel.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday July 13, 2012 at Pederson Funeral Home Waterloo with Rev. Jan Beutin officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 AM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery Waterloo following the service. Memorials to Waterloo Fire & EMS Inc. or to the United Methodist Church would be appreciated by the family.
