Gordon F.H. Baumann, 81 of Geneva, FL, passed on November 5, 2015.
Our Dad was the son of Edward and Martha Baumann of Waterloo, Wisconsin born on November 14, 1933. He was the youngest of five brothers, Edwin, Wilber, Harley, Eugene, and Gordon. Our father was married to our mother, Anna Mae in the autumn of 1953. The two of them spent 60 plus years together, and in that time raised three children: Dale, Tammy and Rodney. Our father was a wise and kind man, whose counsel and help could always be counted on. Dad adored his wife, loved his children, was immensely proud of his grandchildren, and worshiped his great-grandchildren. His hope and love for his entire family and friends was endless. Very rarely did a foul word about another person cross his lips. We believe that his unending trust in God is the reason for his peace toward his fellow man. We will miss his love and compassion, his laughter and humor, his wisdom and advice and the stories he would tell of days gone by. Just as you, Dad were blessed to be a child of God, your children were blessed to have you as their father. Thank you Dad, Grandpa, and friend. We love you and we will miss you. As you go to be with your beloved wife, please say hi and give a hug to Mother for us. It is said that "the meek shall inherit the earth.", then it is yours for the taking, Dad.
