Gloria Huebner

Gloria Joanne (Krueger) Huebner went to her eternal home in heaven on August 9, 2019 with her family by her side.

Gloria was born on April 13, 1935 in Milwaukee, WI.  She was baptized at Salem Lutheran Church, Milwaukee in April 1935.  She was a graduate of Oconomowoc High School in 1953. After graduation, she worked at Oconomowoc Canning Company.

On May 7, 1955; she was united in marriage to Erwin A. Huebner and they were blessed with 4 children; Lynn, Paul, James, and Mark.

Gloria was involved in her community. She volunteered for Lutherans For Life and Alpha Life Resource Center, March of Dimes, Fish, and Ixonia Fire Department (phone for fire emergencies.)

Gloria kept herself busy with raising her children and other hobbies that included; making teddy bears for Pacific Garden Mission, sewing, ceramics, crocheting, gardening, stamp collecting, and scrapbooking.

Gloria is survived by her husband of 64 years, Erwin A. Huebner of Ixonia; her daughter Lynn Huebner of Neenah, her son Paul Huebner of Ixonia, her son James Huebner of Tampa, FL; and her son Mark (Julie) Huebner of Watertown.  She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; Ashton (Steve) Clayton of Tampa, FL, Aaron Huebner of Tampa, FL, Brett Huebner of Bellingham, WA, and Zach and Logan Huebner of Watertown; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Ruth Krueger and her brother Robert Krueger.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 1 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Ixonia, WI with Pastor Souk presiding. Family and friends may gather at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of service.  Burial will take place immediately following the service at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Ixonia, WI.  If desired, any memorials may be directed to Ixonia EMS or Alpha Life Resource Center in Gloria’s name.
