Gerald B. Fraser, 85 of Jefferson (formally of Watertown), went to his Heavenly Home on Monday, March 7, 2016 at UW Hospital of Madison.
Gerry was born May 11, 1930 in Cleveland, OH and moved to Toronto, Canada. He held dual citizenship in the US and Canada and was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Burns Fraser. Gerry was employed as a technician for Bell Canada for many years, retired in 1992 and worked in the Electronic Dept. of Wal-Mart for 10 years. Gerry was a man of hobbies. He was private pilot, a competitive swimmer, avid sailor, scuba diver, snowmobiler, and enjoyed other outdoor activities. He loved electronics, and made sure he had the latest and greatest as soon as those items hit the market. Gerry knew Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and was a pianist who enjoyed playing the "old time" hymns. He will be missed.
Gerry is survived by: Cousins Barbara (Bill) Orr of Manitoulin Island, Ontario, Ruth (Jack) Cole of Watertown, Donald (Francis) Fraser of Hornepayne, Ontario, Carolyn Mackie of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. He is also survived by many other cousins, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home of Watertown with the Rev. Dr. Robert J. Loggans of Calvary Baptist Church presiding. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00AM until the time of service. Burial will take place at Ebenezer Moravian Cemetery following the service.
