Georgiann F. Simdon, 83, of Watertown passed away on Thursday May 30, 2013 at home.
Georgiann was born on Sept. 26, 1929 in Reeseville the daughter of James and Frances (Bergdoll) Bleecker. She married Rodger M. Simdon on Sept. 6, 1947 in Watertown. Georgiann worked in banking for many years, retiring from Bank One in 1986 as a bank officer. She was an active member of Watertown Moravian Church and served on the Board of Directors of Marquardt Village. She enjoyed golf and sewing.
Survivors include: children Katherine Ammon of Watertown and Bruce (Sherryl) Simdon of Fort Worth, TX; three grandchildren, Andrew Ammon, Abigail (Jarrett) Erwin and Christian (Kelli) Simdon; three great grandchildren; brother, Lyle (Sharon) Bleecker of Fort Atkinson; and is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Memorials to Watertown Moravian Church would be appreciated.
A private graveside service will be held at the Watertown Moravian Cemetery at a later date.
