Gary Gscheidmeier

May 25, 1943 — August 24, 2021

Perpetual light shined upon Gary G. Gscheidmeier the morning of Tuesday, August 24th, 2021. As a child of German immigrants, he embodied their success through leadership by example, hard work and integrity first. His service to others helped elect the first-ever African-American Student Body President at Marquette University and to allow women to become first-time members to the Bavarian Social Club.  As well, he provided emergency medical care as a volunteer firefighter for over 15 years. Gary was also a devoted Packers and Marquette "Warriors" fan.

He was a brother to three, committed husband, uncle to many, father of three, grandfather of eight, partner to one, and a friend to all.

From childhood torment to siblings through adolescent mischief, to service as a Soldier to our country, from convertible car rides, to love, marriage, family, friendship and a recent passion for camping, Gary always enjoyed a laugh, a beer, and chosen moments that will long be remembered for many years to come. May he Rest In Peace, and be reunited in Heaven with cherished loved ones.

We will miss you Dad.
