Francis "Frank" Burns

Francis “Frank” B. Burns 74, of Jefferson, Formerly of Watertown, passed away peacefully on Thursday Dec. 12, 2019 at home.

Frank was born on Aug. 11, 1945 in Dodgeville, WI the son of Robert and Margaret Burns.  Frank married the love of his life Sherry Schoechert on March 4, 1975 and the couple enjoyed 44 years together.  He served our country in the US Army from 1964- 1967. Frank was a welder by trade and later owned and operated Speedy Bike Repair in Watertown, for over 20 years. His true passion was bike repair. Frank enjoyed fishing and the occasional trips to the casino. He was known as a “social butterfly” and will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include: wife Sherry; children Chad and Amy Burns; brother Bob (Sharon) Burns; sister Pat (Jerry) Olson.  He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life for Frank will be held from 1:00-4:00pm on March 21, 2020 at the American Legion Post 305 located at 223 1st Street. Johnson Creek, WI 53038.
