Francis "Frank" P. Hamilton 86, of Sun Prairie, formerly Waterloo passed away on Wednesday May 1, 2013.
Frank was born on August 22, 1926 in Madison, the son of Andrew and Jewell (Murphy) Hamilton. He was a graduate of Marshall High School. He married Theresa Burke on Oct. 3, 1953 at St. Mary's Church in Mineral Point. Frank farmed and worked for Perry Printing in Waterloo for 26 years. He was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, Knights of Columbus, and the Foresters. Frank enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, along with golfing and ice fishing.
Frank is survived by his wife: Theresa Hamilton; five children, Tom (Wendy) of Avon Lake, OH, Dennis (Colleen) of Carrollton, TX, Mary Casadonte of Phoenix, AZ, Jim (Cyndi) of Algonquin, IL and Robert (Ann) of Sun Prairie; fifteen grandchildren, Nick, Kelsey, Brad, Katie, Spencer, Casey, Sophie, Rex (Katherine), Grant, Reid, Garrett, Drew, Ty, Leah, and Davis. He was also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, grandchildren Reese and Carly; sisters, Mary Brady and Ann Holst.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday May 4, 2013, at St. Joseph's Parish with Fr. Michael Radowicz and Msgr. Terry Conners presiding. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9-11 a.m. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
