Elva M. Mueller 84, of Watertown passed away on Friday Sept. 14, 2012 at Watertown Regional Medical Center.
Elva was born on April 7, 1928 in Chester, IL the daughter of Oscar & Clara (Schroeder) Mueller. Elva came to Bethesda on July 22, 1969 and was later confirmed there in 1976. Elva enjoyed chapel services and Bible classes at Bethesda and especially liked carrying the processional cross to begin the worship service at Bethesda's Chapel of the Good Shepherd. She also enjoyed music and her smile would light up a room.
Survivors include a second cousin Helen Mayer of Illinois and by her many friends and caregivers at Bethesda Lutheran Communities. Memorials may be given to Bethesda Lutheran Communities. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Omer Paul.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM on Wednesday Sept. 19, 2012 at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd at Bethesda Lutheran Communities with the Rev. Dennis Kneer presiding. Visitation will be held on Wednesday 9:30 AM until the time of service all at the chapel. Burial will be held at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Chester, IL.
