Elizabeth A. Rupnow 75 of Oconomowoc, passed away on Thursday Nov. 1, 2012 at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.
Elizabeth was born on Aug. 20, 1937 in Watertown. She was a graduate of Oconomowoc High School. She married Orville Rupnow on Sept. 3, 1955. Elizabeth worked at the Kilte in Oconomowoc for many years. She was an active member of St. Matthew's Lutheran church in Oconomowoc. She loved flowers, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and friends.
Survivors include: husband Orville of Oconomowoc; 5 children Karen (Gary) Maas of Eau Claire, Doug (Sheryl) of Watertown, Dan (Mary) of Watertown, Darrell (Jackie) of Sussex and Greg (Tara) of Ixonia; 17 grandchildren Josh, Jenny, Jake (Jamie), Jeanna (Matt), Matt, Melissa, Michael, Jacob (Chelsea), Billy, Leanne, Justin, Samantha, Jessica, Tony, Jessica, Karsen and Jadyn; 5 great grandchildren; brother Edward (Joanne) Staedter of Elkhorn; sister Panny Bongardt of Oconomowoc; also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and son David. Memorials to St. Matthews Lutheran Church Oconomowoc would be appreciated.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM on Monday Nov. 5, 2012 at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc with the Rev. Daniel Schmidt presiding. Visitation will be held on Monday 9:30 AM until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in La Belle Cemetery in Oconomowoc.
