Elizabeth Jane Anderson "Betty Jane", age 77, of Lake Mills, passed away on Sunday September 8, 2013 at her home in Lake Mills. Betty was born June 15, 1936 in Madison the daughter of the late George and Helen(Bennish) Renz. She is a graduate of Cottage Grove Elementary School. Betty married Telford "Andy" Anderson on March 2, 1985 in Morrisonville Lutheran Church. Betty was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Waterloo, and she drove school bus for handicapped kids for DeForest Bus Co. Betty was also a home health provider for Jefferson County for many years.
Betty is survived by her husband of 28 years; Telford "Andy" Anderson, 4 sons; Donald Scheel, David(Brenda) Scheel, Steven Scheel, George Scheel, 3 daughters; Josaphine Scranton, Susan(Roger) Schimmel, Bonnie Scheel, 3 grandsons; Jacob Scheel, Benjamin Crawford, Logan Lenz, 3 granddaughters; Mary Crawford, Tosha Scheel, Jessica Frees, 4 great grandchildren, brother Lloyd Renz, sister Ethel(Jerry) Walt, sister-in-law Nancy Nieshiem, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Eugene (Irene) Renz, and sister-in-law Eunice Renz.
Memorials may be made to Rainbow Hospice.
A Funeral will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday September 12, 2013 at ST. PAUL'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 226 E. Madison St. Waterloo, with Rev. Robert W. Kosky Jr. presiding. Burial will be in Norway Grove Cemetery in DeForest. A visitation will be from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at the church on Thursday.
