Elaine R. Wickert, 93 of Watertown, passed away on January 28, 2015 at Golden Living Center of Watertown.
Elaine was born on March 27, 1921 in the Town of Ixonia, the daughter of Edwin and Ruth (Smith) Hollatz. As a child, she attended Green Valley School in Ixonia and St. Mark's Lutheran School of Watertown. On April 26, 1942, she married Fred Wickert at St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Fred preceded her in death in 1998. She was the last member of her immediate family. Elaine was a wonderful wife and homemaker, a loving mother and a devoted caregiver. She enjoyed spending meaningful time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, baking, playing cards and spending time with her friends.
She is survived by: Children Herschel (Janet) Wickert, Renee, Wickert Darlene (Bernie) Nicodemus, all of Watertown; 5 Grandchildren Dawn Caudill-Olson, Chad (Stacy) Wickert, Richelle Kuehl, Christine (Mark) Johnson, and Kimberly (Mike) Fickau; 9 Great-Grandchildren Vince Uttech, Logan Olson, Elaine Olson, Taylor Wickert, Hannah Wichert, Marni Wickert, Bennett Kuehl, Bryce Kuehl and Elaina Fickau; Sister-in-Law Ellen Hollatz of Oconomowoc. Elaine is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She is preceded by: her parents, husband, 3 Brother Harold, Raymond and Edwin, and Sister Anita Stai-Wickert.

Funeral service will be on Monday February 2, 2015 at 11AM at St. Mark's Lutheran Church of Watertown with the Rev. Michael Jensen presiding. Visitation will be Sunday from 2PM to 4PM at Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home and Monday from 10AM until the time of service at the church. Burial will take place at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia.
